Black Friday is a colloquial term for the Friday following Thanksgiving in the United States. On this day, many stores put items on sale for the holidays.
Stores will alter their promotions based on different dates. Walmart started their online deals on November 3rd at 7 pm and started in store sales November 5th at 5 am, and their sales end a few days after Black Friday
Many people shop heavily on Black Friday in order to get all of their kids’ presents for the holidays. Things are gone fast because of this, and it takes a bit to restock all of the items that are out of stock. But this is not really a real holiday.
